3.1.5.2 Identification Bytes
The identification bytes contain information about the design and structure of
the module inputs and outputs. For the configuration, each I/O module, or
each channel is allocated an identification (module).

This information is saved in the GSD file. During configuring the I/O module
is selected in accordance with the article number using the configuration
software in the hardware cataloge.
Modules are compiled in the table to make things simpler.
