Open and close the SPF.

Opening and closing the cover

clears the misfeed display.

Copying cannot be resumed

until this step is performed.

A message may appear indicating the number of

originals which must be returned to the document

feeder tray. Return the originals to the document

feeder tray and press the [START] key ( ).

MISFEED IN THE BYPASS TRAY

Carefully remove the misfed paper

from the bypass tray.

Grasp the side cover handle and

gently open and close the side cover.

The message " Clear paper

path." will be cleared and

copying will be possible.

If the message does not clear, check again

to make sure that no pieces of paper

remain.
