7. CONTROL

7.4.2 Starting automatic sequence

• Prepare the machine (see Section 6. Assembly)

• Select Automatic mode

• Close protection hood if not already closed

• Push start button

Now the cycle runs automatically according to the program selected.

Automatic cycle

1. The grinding unit moves forward and applies the set pressure when coolant

monitoring is not selected. If coolant monitoring is selected,

the grinding unit is only applied when the coolant flow control is activated.

Simultaneously, the copy clamping plate moves to the left if it is not already on the left.

2. The waiting times run for grinding unit to the front (D206) and copy clamping

plate to the right (D215).

After the waiting times, the grinding cycles run. For this, the knife feed moves forward until

the approach check registers. If the grinding belt becomes free during the first grinding

cycle, the knife feed is applied again until the approach check registers again. If the limit

switch cams are set to "Raise grinding unit", the grinding unit lifts up when it reaches the

cam.

3. According to the parameters entered, the knife feed moves forward after the grinding

cycles have run and the copy clamping plate on the right has been reached. For this, the

grinding unit is raised.

4. After the knife feed, the next number of grinding cycles runs.

5. Numbers 2. - 4. repeat themselves until the set number of knife feeds (D224) is

completed.

6. After the final feed and the completion of the grinding cycles, the grinding unit is

moved back and the knife feed moved into the start position.

7.5 Cleaning the copying grinding machine

For cleaning, the copy clamping plate can be moved manually to the left and right. Then you

can easily rinse off the grinding sludge in the water trough.
