7. CONTROL
If you release the button during copy clamping plate replacement and then press it again, the
copy clamping plate replacement cycle starts again with the movement to the left.
If the limit stop of the copy clamping plate on the right is fixed, you can move the copy clam-
ping plate to the left and right by hand when the button is pushed. The first direction of move-
ment after you press the button is always to the left.
7.4 Automatic mode
If the automatic cycle is interrupted by opening the protection hood, pressing the
"
EMERGENCY - OFF
" button, switching over the operating mode, or switching the main
switch to "Off", the operator must make sure the knife feed is moved back before a re-
start.
Otherwise the machine can be damaged.
7.4.1 Stopping automatic operation
Stopping by opening the protection hood
The cycle stops if the protection hood is opened, unless it has already been stopped with the
stop button. All units move back to their start positions, except for the knife feed.
If the knife feed has already moved to the front in automatic mode, it automatically moves
back by the time set in parameter D229 after the protection hood is closed.
Stopping by changing from automatic to manual mode
The cycle stops in the same way as by opening the protection hood, but the knife feed stays
in the current position.A re-start is only possible after the knife feed has been manually moved,
or after switching to automatic mode after the knife feed has moved back to the rear end posi-
tion. The fault message 907 appears on the control panel until the knife feed is manually or
automatically moved back.
Stopping with EMERGENCY - OFF
After this kind of stoppage, you must first switch on the control system. Then the knife feed
moves back automatically as long as automatic mode is still set. Otherwise, the sequence is
the same as for changing modes.
Stopping with main switch off
After this kind of stoppage, all information and displays are deleted. The operator himself must
prepare the machine for a new automatic cycle.
