5. INSTALLATION

5.1 Selection of qualified personnel

When defining the installation site, observe the necessary space requirements for assembly, mainte-

nance and repair work on the machine (see section 3.2).

5.3 Supply connections

The machine is delivered ready for connection with the relevant connection cables for electrics and

compressed air

The compressed air supply must be provided by the customer

. Please observe the

information given in section 3.2.

5.4

Settings

The various components and the electrics are adjusted by Knecht Maschinenbau

GmbH before delivery.

Unauthorised changes to the set values are not permitted and may damage the copy-grinding

machine.

We recommend that the assembly work on the copy-grinding machine be

carried out by trained Knecht personnel. We do not accept liability damage

as a result of incorrect assembly.

CAUTION

Ensure correct connection of the power supply. The connection is provided

on the grinding machine USK 230.
