Municipal liners are perfect when you need a basic, black can liner at a heavier gauge.

These liners contain recycled resins; a minimum of 40% and up to 70%. Other sizes/gauges

Calculating the Right Size

• Bag width should be 1/2 of the outer

circumference of the container.

• Bag length should be the height of

the container + 1/2 of the diameter

of the container bottom + 3 inches

for overhang. For rectangular

containers, use 1/2 of the diagonal

measurement.

Down-Gauging

If you convert from a linear low to a

high-density liner, a significantly

thinner gauge can be used because of

the strength of high-density.

• If the liner is 33'' or less in width,

down-gauge by 50%.

• If the liner is greater than 33'' in

width, down-gauge by 35%.

• To convert the MIL to MIC, multiply

by 25.4.
