Answering on an extension phone connected to the

same line

Answer the extension phone when it

rings.

If you hear a soft fax tone, set the phone down (do not hang up), walk

over to the machine, lift the machine’s handset, and press .

Receiving a Fax Using the Cordless Handset

If you hear a fax tone after answering a call on the cordless handset, or if the

other party speaks to you and then wants to send a fax, press . This

signals the machine to begin fax reception.
