Enabling file storage in network folders
Use the following procedure to enable file storage in network folders on GL controllers.
To enable file storage in network folders on GL controllers:
1 Click the Administration tab and then select Setup.
2 Select Fax/Scan Agents.
3 Select Send to File.
4 Make sure the following settings are selected:
5 Save the information.
Scanning documents
Use the following procedure to scan documents using the scan template.
To scan documents using the scan template:
1 Load your originals into the MFP.
2 Press the Printer/Network button on the control panel.
3 Press the Scan button on the touch screen.
4 Select Private next the bottom edge of the touch screen.
5 Press the name of the template group, such as “eCopy”.
6 Press the name of the template you want to use.
7 Select Scan.
Option Description/Setting
Storage Path Select Send scanned documents directly to the storage path.
Remote 1 Select Allow user to select network folder to be used as a destination.
