EQUIPMENT CONNECTION

1. The ER-A770 Cash Card Connection:

The ER-A770 provides two RS-232 communication ports standard with the possibility of adding

the ER-A7RS optional RS-232 expansion board to increase the number of RS-232 ports to four

maximum. The instructions provided within will be based on the standard configuration.

Connection for the Cash Card Reader may be attached to the ER-A770 as shown below in

(Fig. 1 and Fig. 2):

When using the CAT/EFT function, the connection

for the cable may be

port-1 (CH-1) or port-2 (CH-2)
