LINE 2 IN USE

Display

This displays messages and prompts during operation and

programming.

LINE 1 IN USE light

This lights when the fax machine is using the telephone line. (If you

have installed the dual-line option, this lights when the fax machine is

using Line 1).

LINE 2 IN USE light

If you have installed the dual-line option, this lights when the fax

machine is using Line 2.

STATUS indicator

This blinks when a paper size error or paper jam occurs. It also blinks

when the print compartment cover is open, or when the received

document tray is not properly installed. A message appears in the

display to indicate the problem.

The indicator lights steadily when a problem occurs which must be

fixed by a service technician.
